Girl Scout Bronze Award – Requirements and Guidelines
The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Junior can earn. Girls who have earned this award have demonstrated their commitment to making the world a better place. The following requirements and guidelines must be met in order to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award:
Requirements
- You must be in 4th or 5th grade.
- You must complete two or more interest projects.
- You must lead at least one service project.
- You must complete the Journey programs that are related to your Bronze Award project.
Guidelines
- Your project should be something that is meaningful and benefits the community.
- Your project should challenge you and involve planning and decision-making.
- Your project should involve team-building, working with other girls, and leading.
- Your project should use the resources of the Girl Scouts and your local community.
- Your project should take at least 30 hours.
- Your project should include a presentation.
- Your project should be documented in a scrapbook.
