January – Snowman Building
January is the perfect time to get in the winter spirit with a festive snowman building session! Depending on the weather, a snowman building activity can take anywhere from a couple of hours to an entire day to complete. Gather the supplies you’ll need—such as a few large sticks, some coal, carrots, and buttons—and then let the creativity flow! Once you’ve finished, take a picture of your troop’s group snowman so you can cherish the memory forever.
February – Valentine Card Making
February is the time for love, and what better way to show it than with a homemade Valentine card? Grab some construction paper, glue, glitter, and of course those all-important markers. Then, you and your troop of girls can make colorful, one-of-a-kind cards to give to each other and to friends and family. Not only will the girls have a fun time making the cards, they’ll also get to practice their artistic skills.
March – Egg Decorating
Spring is almost here, which means it’s time for egg decorating! This activity is best done outdoors, so break out those pastel-colored paints and paintbrushes, as well as some hard-boiled eggs. Then, gather around in a group and start creating fun and unique designs on the eggs. When you’re done, you can display your colorful creations on a table for everyone to admire!
