Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to bring ceremony and snack into your classroom? We’ve got you covered! Our free printable activity involves an interactive ceremony and snack activity that’s perfect for fostering a positive classroom culture.
This activity promotes teamwork and classroom community while developing an appreciation for nutritious snacks. Students will create a “ceremony” to conduct before business as usual, and afterwards enjoy a healthy snack. This activity is perfect for classroom teachers, homeschool families, and parent-led learning centers.
Here’s how it works:
- Choose a healthy snack ahead of time, such as apples, bananas, carrot sticks, etc.
- Print our free printable booklet. You will need one booklet per student.
- Have the students brainstorm what their “ceremony” will look like.
- Once students have designed their ceremony, they can write it down in their booklet.
- Now it’s time for the fun part – performing the ceremony! Gather the students and have them stand in a circle. Encourage them to take turns leading the ceremony and passing the snack around.
We hope this activity sparks creativity in your classroom! Download your free printable activity here.
