If you’ve ever copied and pasted text from one document into another, then you’re probably familiar with the Paste Options menu. This menu appears when you paste text into a new document, and it offers a variety of options for how you want your copied text to look. But what are the options you can choose from? And which of the following options is not a part of the Paste Options menu?

The Paste Options menu consists of five main choices: Keep Source Formatting, Merge Formatting, Keep Text Only, Match Destination Formatting, and Keep All Text Only. Keep Source Formatting is the default option, which preserves all of the formatting that was used in the original document. Merge Formatting applies the formatting from the destination document to the copied text, while still preserving some of the original formatting. Keep Text Only removes all of the formatting from the copied text, leaving only the text itself. Match Destination Formatting applies the formatting from the destination document to the copied text, replacing any original formatting. And finally, Keep All Text Only removes all of the formatting from the copied text, leaving only the text as plain text.

So which of these options is not part of the Paste Options menu? The answer is none of them! All five of the options listed above are part of the Paste Options menu in Microsoft Word. So next time you need to paste text into a document, you have plenty of options to choose from.
