Webelos Program Overview
The Webelos program is divided into four ranks. Each rank has its own set of requirements and activities. The requirements and activities must be completed before Scouts can advance to the next rank.
- Webelos Badge (advancement from Cub Scouts)
- Arrow of Light (final award of Cub Scouting)
- Webelos Activity Badge Program
- Webelos Outdoor Program
Along with the requirements, there are elective activities that can be done to demonstrate knowledge and skills. These activities can be completed at any time throughout the year.
Webelos Activity Badge Program
The Activity Badge Program is designed to help Scouts become better citizens. It is broken down into five main categories: fitness, citizen, outdoors, technology, and art. Scouts earn the badge by completing the requirements in each category.
Webelos Outdoor Program
The Outdoor Program is designed to help Scouts learn how to enjoy and appreciate the outdoors. It includes activities such as camping, hiking, and fishing. Scouts will learn valuable skills such as map and compass reading, outdoor cooking, and fire safety.
