The Colors of Friendship Activity is an enjoyable free printable activity to help promote healthy friendships between children. The activity encourages children to think about the different qualities they appreciate in their friends, and express these qualities with colorful artwork.

This activity works best with a group of children of at least four in size. To begin, give each child a piece of white paper, colored pencils, a marker, and a set of the free printable cards that display the different qualities of friendship, such as kindness and loyalty.

Instruct each child to pick a card, and then draw a picture that illustrates the quality on their piece of paper. After completing their artwork, each child can share the story behind their artwork and discuss what the quality of friendship means to them. When all of the children have finished, they can compare the different artwork they created and discuss the different meanings of the qualities.

At the end of the activity, invite the children to cut out their art and hang it up in their homes so it can serve as a reminder of the importance of friendship and its many colors.
